Actors did terrific job - they all are great in this one (just except for maybe Orlando). At running time 2 h 35 min this almost movie never drags and is terrifically looking entertainment from start till finish. Re-watching it recently i rediscovered just how great this movie is looking and well paced it is. While its probably not historically very accurate, i always enjoyed this movie as pure popcorn entertainment. So they set off with 1,000 ships holding 50,000 Greeks to Troy. Agamemnon sees this as an opportunity for power. After Menelaus finds out that his wife was taken by the Trojans, he asks his brother Agamemnon to help him get her back. Two emerging nations begin to clash after Paris, the Trojan prince, convinces Helen, Queen of Sparta, to leave her husband, Menelaus, and sail with him back to Troy.
